Benton Central Band Boosters
Students
in the Benton Central Band Program thrive on the support of family, friends, community members, and Benton Central Band alumni. Parent support for the Benton
Central band program is expressed through the many activities of the Band
Boosters. The mission of the BCSC Band Boosters is to advocate for the value of
music education and provide volunteer and financial support for students and
directors in the band program.
Each parent that has a student
enrolled in the band program is considered a member of the BC Band Booster
organization. The purpose of this parent group is to provide supplementary
communication, encouragement, assistance, and financial support to the band
program. Each year there is an election of executive officers for the band
boosters, of which any parent is eligible. General meetings will be held once per month, on the second Monday at 6PM. All parents are encouraged to attend. The
boosters also conduct a series of fundraisers and band events to support the
tremendous amount of work that the students put in each year. This is an
excellent opportunity to be involved in your child’s education and to help
support the band program here at Benton Central. For more information, please
contact the director or one of the Booster officers.
All these activities require parent volunteer effort. The Band Boosters' values are youth development, inclusiveness,
artistry, and success! Parents and guardians of current band musicians are all
members of the Band Booster family. Alumni and their families are also welcome
to join. See
the Fundraising and Volunteers pages for more! We need everyone's help! |
