Symphonic Band

The Symphonic Band is the primary high school band at Benton Central Jr./Sr. High School. This group blends a variety of grades and talents into a main performance group. There is no required audition to be a part of this band.

Symphonic Band is made up of 9-12th grade students who receive credit hours towards the Fine Arts Graduation requirements. This ensemble provides an opportunity for students to work together to advance their musical talents. The Symphonic Band performs at the Fall Festival Concert, Winter Concert, ISSMA District Festival Contest, and the Fine Arts Festival in May. Students in this group are also highly encouraged to participate in ISSMA Solo & Ensemble contest, IBA All-District Band, & All-State Band.   

In addition to the curricular performance opportunities,
Symphonic Band students also primarily make 
up the Benton Central Marching, Jazz, Pit and Pep Bands. All High School band students are highly encouraged to be part of these ensembles.
